My brother took me here because it is one of his favorite breakfast places. I understand why--the food is excellent.
We went on a weekday morning and it was crowded--I can only imagine how busy it is on the weekend.I had the country fried steak, eggs over easy, hash browns, and toast. The country fried steak and gravy were just perfect. The eggs were cooked well and I absolutely loved the hash browns.
Lily's care is definitely worth a visit. -

This is a must. I came where looking for an early mexican breakfast. I first discovered mexican breakfasts while in Texas and I had a hankering for one again while in Lombard. I was so pleasantly suprised to find one and even more pleased when I got here and saw the menu. This place is legit!
It's a smallish (but not too small) diner spot that I would've never found without Yelp! (Thank you)
I sat by the front window and enjoyed my breakfast which was mind blowingly good along with many refils of coffee as I did some reading and prepared myself for the day ahead. There was no rush even as they began to get more people dining in. The server was so warm and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place.
There is no way I'll miss this when in the area again (hoping for this coming Saturday!) -

If you blink you miss it! Would never know this place exists if my boyfriend wasn't a regular here. I finally joined him the other day, and I'm really surprised and pleased with my experience. It was pretty packed on a Saturday morning, as it's a small place. Definitely seats less than 50 people. Maybe even less than 30? There was a wait as we were leaving.
This isn't anything fancy, but the food is great. I had the veggie skillet and everything was very fresh. Don't expect the coffee to be good, but it's a diner so the expectations are already low. Will be back! -

The staff here are so nice. They really try to think of everything (bacon crispy? Don't like a particular fruit in the fruit cup?)
They apologized for us waiting, but I thought they were fast. The food was really fresh. Great flavors. When it came out, it was all set on the plates in a way that was pretty and enticing.
It's small-ish but they have lots of space between the tables. I really respect that. -

Fantastic local place! Fantastic food and impeccable service. My to go there are the wraps--fresh, tasty, and generous size. All the servers are reliably friendly and caring (a dying phenomenon these days). And they do care. Last time they served water on a plastic cup instead of glass, like before, so I left a note requesting for them not to change to plastic. Today, two servers assured me they got my note and they will be serving my water in glass. They are doing something very right!
